Our guests stay on the Peña family’s 350-acre lakeside property, a peaceful ranch nestled along the shores of Lake Rupanco in Chile’s Los Lagos Region. Surrounded by forests, open pasture, and sweeping views of the Andes, the property offers a quiet retreat deeply connected to the landscape. Across the land, wild horses and grazing cattle roam freely, giving the ranch a truly Patagonian character. A short walk leads down to the private lakefront beach, where guests can relax by the water, watch the changing light across the lake, or simply enjoy the stillness of this remote corner of Chile.
The property is designed as a comfortable base for adventure while still embracing the beauty of outdoor living. Guests can unwind in the wood-burning hot tub, take a refreshing dip in the cold plunge, or gather together on the large deck overlooking the land. In the evenings, the space transforms into a cozy gathering place with a large outdoor projection screen for movie nights under the stars, creating memorable moments after days spent rafting, hiking, fishing, and exploring Patagonia.
Staying here is more than just lodging—it’s an opportunity to experience life on a family ranch surrounded by nature, where the rhythm of the land, wildlife, and wide-open landscapes become part of the experience.
